SQL server may hang up if some VSS error occurs

Problem
When performing SQL backups with Advanced Open File Option (AOFO), the SQL database and the backup job may hang up if some snapshot creation error occurs in the VSS operation.
Cause
This is caused by some snapshot creation error in the VSS operation.
Solution
Do not use AOFO in an environment where any snapshot error may occur.
If this issue is observed, kill beremote.exe on the SQL server with the following command to recover frozen state immediately
After the taskkill command, restart all services of Backup Exec on both Media Server and the remote server.
