Currently, no versions of PGP Desktop or Symantec Encryption Desktop are supported on a Windows 8 operating system. This applies to all features of Symantec Encryption Desktop (formerly known as PGP Desktop) including Symantec Drive Encryption (formerly known as PGP Whole Disk Encryption)
