Problem
VMotion network IPaddress appearing in database after ESX host discovery instead of service console IPaddress.
Error
Unknown
Environment
Virtual Machine Management 7.1 SP2
Cause
That ND isn’t selecting the VMkernel port designated for management (when there are no service console ports). A VMkernel port can be setup for both management and VMotion, so a port’s support of VMotion isn’t a concern. Only one VMkernel port can be designated as a management port.
