Problem
During a Symantec Control Compliance Suite Reporting and Analytics (CCS RA) asset import of OEL machines, a Data Processing Server (DPS) service error is given and the assets are not imported.
Error
No DPS configured for https://www.symantec.com/CSM/Components/MOSProviders/CSV can be found for 1 asset(s). No data collection will be performed.
Environment
Symantec RMS: 10.5.60.20200 PCU 2011-4
Symantec RMS installed on Windows 2008 Standard 64 bit
Symantec CCS R&A 10.0.863.106000 PCU 2011-4
Symantec DSS/Application Server: Microsoft Windows 2008 R2, 16 CPU, 24G RAM
SQL Server: Microsoft Windows 2008 R2, SQL Server 2008 SP2, clustering technology
12 DPS servers; 2 are Load Balancers.
UNIX Targets:
Oracle Enterprise Linux (OEL) 5.7
Redhat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5.6 and 5.7
Cause
The Data Processing Server service (DPS) does not appear to have the Comma Separated Value (CSV) options configured. The error appears to be an issue with the DPS and not related to OEL systems.
Solution
To resolve the issue, add CSV parameters to the DPS settings under CCS RA Manage->Topology->Map View (or Grid View) to the target DPS.
