Problem
When trying to install Symantec Encryption Desktop using an installer downloaded from Symantec Encryption Management Server (previously PGP Universal Server), installation fails and you receive an Internal Error.
Error
Internal Error 2721. WiseStartup
Environment
Symantec Encryption Management Server
Cause
This may be caused by corruption in creation of the PGPDesktop.msi installer package on the server.
Solution
To resolve this issue, create a new PGPDesktop.msi installer on the Symantec Encryption Management Server and use the new downloaded file to install Symantec Encryption Desktop.
