1) Ensure Archive Logging is enabled for the database that is being backed up

2) If Archive Log is enabled and remote agent on Oracle server shows the above error in debug then check the database address description specified in the TNSNAMES.ORA file. It could be that it is using an incorrect Oracle Server IP Address.
Confirm if the database address used for the database being backed up has the correct oracle server IP address defined in the HOST variable. If the entries are incorrect then modify the file and then try the backup.
