Issue

When backing up a UNC path \\<host>\<share> on a NAS device from a Windows 2003 NBU
client, performing a cumulative incremental backup immediately after a full
backup still backs up all files when TIR with Move Detection is enabled.

There are several cases that do work:

1) If Move Detection is disabled but TIR is left enabled, then the incremental
skips all of the unchanged files.

2) If the backup selection is defined to be a directory within the top level of
the NAS share, i.e. \\<host>\<share>\<some directory>, then TIR with Move Detection
properly skips all unchanged files when an incremental is run.

The problem only occurs, when the top level of the NAS share path is specified.

Error

In the bpbkar log the TIR_INFO file gets created just fine in the full backup -
1:08:36.407 PM: [5912.5232] <4> dos_backup::V_AddToTIRFile: INF - opening new
TIR+ file:<C:\Program
Files\Veritas\NetBackup\tir_info\\\<Host>\<Share>\NetBackup_file_info.new.Dev_Dr01ctipge_Stor02_Winarchive1_Test2.5912>

The TIR_INFO file did get created -
 Directory of C:\Program Files\Veritas\NetBackup\tir_info\<host>\<share>

06/06/2012  01:29 PM    <DIR>          .
06/06/2012  01:29 PM    <DIR>          ..

NetBackup_file_info.Dev_Dr01ctipge_Stor02_Winarchive1_Test2

But then during the incremental its looking for the TIR_INFO file in the
subdirectory, and not finding it -

1:27:18.900 PM: [6080.5084] <4> dos_backup::V_OpenTIRInfoFile: INF - opening

'C:\Program
Files\Veritas\NetBackup\tir_info\\\<host>\<share>\bkp2ctipge_jobs\NetBackup_file_info.Dev_Dr01ctipge_Stor02_Winarchive1_Test2'
is missing. Backing up everything in '\\<host>\<share>\bkp2ctipge_jobs'
1:27:18.916 PM: [6080.5084] <4> dos_backup::V_AddToTIRFile: INF - opening new

Cause
