When configuring F5 Exchange Blocking settings in Symantec Mobile Management 7.2 SP1, the Allow initial registration of all devices but do not allow synchronizing mail, contacts, or other data checkbox only applies to Android devices with Touchdown installed. This setting prevents the synching of Exchange ActiveSync or other email client information.
To select the setting for F5 Exchange Blocking:
- In the Symantec Mobile Management Console, select Home > Mobile Management > Exchange ActiveSync > EAS Settings.
- Select Use F5 Big-IP LTM server to block communication from unapproved devices.
- For Android devices with Touchdown, select the Allow initial registration of all devices but do not allow synchronizing mail, contacts, or other data checkbox.
- Make any other settings for F5 blocking.
- Click Save Changes.
