Problem

The Notification Server has a number of NSE files in the EvtFast\Bad\NullReferenceException or the EvtFast\Bad\AexException folder.

Environment

Application Metering Solution 6.1

Cause

Application Metering Agent is generating NSEs with invalid characters (EvtFast\Bad\NullReferenceException) and double quotes (EvtFast\Bad\AexException). These NSEs are the Stop event data enabled by Application monitor policies.

Solution

Application Metering 6.1.28 and higher resolves this issue. Review article 28837 for detailed steps to install this hotfix.
