Error "Analysis Server 'server name' does not exist." occurs when trying to verify connection to the Analysis Server

Issue



In the Settings>Notification Server>IT Analytics Settings>Configuration page, the following error occurs on the IT Analytics Configuration page when a valid address is provided for the name of the Analysis server:

Analysis Server 'server name' does not exist,
 


Environment



IT Analytics 7.x


Cause



App ID was not the administrator on the Analysis Server.


Solution



This issue can be resolved by making the App ID an administrator on the Analysis Server.
