Lotus Notes 7.0.2 and 8.x

Solution

The issue was fixed in 10.2.1 MP5 and 10.3.
The password prompt is now issued when clicking on an encrypted email.

The release notes write for 10.2.1 MP5 write:

"Resolved issue where PGP Desktop would sometimes fail to prompt Lotus Notes
users to insert their smartcard when attempting to decrypt email."
