Problem
Using pcAnywhere packager to build a pcAnywhere 12.5.5.1086 installation file will yeald errors on Japanese and Chinese Windows OS's that pcAnywhere is then installed to.
Error
- System Event ID: 1060
\SystemRoot\SysWow64\Drivers\awlegacy.sys has been blocked from loading due to
incompatibility with this system. Please contact your software vendor for a
compatible version of the driver.
- System Event ID: 7026
The following boot-start or system-start driver(s) failed to load:
awlegacy
Solution
Symantec Development has provided replacement Product Module file to fix this problem.
The file can be obtained by contacting Symantec Technical Support.
Steps to import replacement Product Module file:
1. Start Packager
2. Delete original items on [Import Products], [Configure Products] and [Configure Pakages] tab
3. Import Product Module obtained by contacting Symantec Technical Support
