Issue

The EAS Configuration Tool configures the EAS Management Server (MMCM) or EAS designated Site-Server (SMM-SMP) to run the Exchange ActiveSync Interface for a specific version of Microsoft Exchange Server. Run this tool if you have installed EAS Management Services (MMCM) or you are configuring EAS Integration (SMM-SMP) components. This tool assumes your EAS Management Server or Mobile Management Site-Server is part of the same AD domain as the exchange server. It also assumes that you have installed compatible Exchange Management Tools for either Exchange 2007 or Exchange 2010.

Environment

Symantec Mobile Management for Configuration Manager

Symantec Mobile Management for Symantec Management Platform

Solution

The following parameters are used with the eas.bat file:

  • <exchange-server>- fully qualified domain name of the Exchange Server (e.g. exchange.xyz.com).
  • <account> <password>- Exchange administrator account and password. You can specify ask in the <password> parameter to be prompted for the password.
  • NoSSL- connect to Exchange via HTTP. Optional parameter (case insensitive).
  • AllCertsOK- connect to Exchange via HTTPS (SSL) and accept all certificates. Optional parameter (case insensitive).
