Unable to select a resource lookup key within a Data Connector import rule

Problem
After selecting a data source from a data connector import rule, a resource lookup key is not selectable and there are not any available data classes to map to.
Error
None, Resource lookup key will be grayed out.
Environment
This issue has been seen after upgrading to 7.1 SP2 MP 1.1 Roll up V1
Cause
This issue is caused by corrupted data sources, possibly caused by an upgrade. It is unknown if this is only seen in V1, but may be found in other versions as well.
Solution
This issue can be resolved by creating a new data source, then direct the import rule to the newly created data source. This will then allow a resource lookup key to be selected and data classes will then be able to be mapped.
This issue can also be avoided by exporting the data sources prior to an upgrade.
