After few successful attempts backup job fails intermittently with error "Backup Exec could not log on to the server with the logon account specified for it"

Problem
After few successful backups the job fails with error mentioned below. After the failure remote servers cannot be browsed and results in a pop up error as below.

Final error: 0xe0009b61 - Backup Exec could not log on to the server with the logon account specified for it. The logon account does not have valid credentials. Ensure that the user name and password are correct in the logon account.

Pop Up error while browsing remote servers:
Solution
Workaround:
Restart Backup Exec Remote agent service after every successful backup. Kill beremote.exe if the service fails to stop or is stuck in stopping state.
