Issue



Unable to access Symantec System Recovery Management Solution (SSR-MS) console due to 'Error in Telemetry Data' (Figure 1).

This typically occurs following an upgrade from SSR-MS 2010/2011 to 2013.

Solution



Manually reconfigure SSR-MS using the following steps:

  1. Open command prompt (run as administrator), go to <InstallDir>\Altiris\Notification Server\bin
  2. Run the following command: AeXConfig.exe /configure "<InstallDir>\Altiris\Symantec System Recovery Management Solution\Config\BackupSln.config"
  3. When the reconfigure is complete restart the Altiris Service and IIS
  4. Open the SSR-MS console
