Error "Data Cannot be Loaded" or "An error occurred on the page" occurs when trying to edit an asset

When trying to edit an asset, such as a computer, software license, purchase order, etc., an error occurs such as "Data Cannot be Loaded" or "An error occurred on the page. Please check the log for more details."
Notfication Server 7.1 SP2
ITMS 7.1 SP2
CMDB or Asset Management 7.1 SP2.
Defect, Etracks 2831367 and2814084.
This will occur after the page (a resource list report) is idle for 20 minutes or more.
This is resolved by installing CMDB 7.1 SP2 MR1. Other updates may also be necessary, depending on where the issue occurs as, specifically updating the Notification Server to 7.1 SP2 MR1 or Asset Management to 7.1 SP2 MR1.
A point fix for the CMDB/Asset 7.1 SP2 pre-MR1 release. Please contact Technical Support to obtain this point fix.
A workaround is to refresh the page, or to go to a different area of the console then come back.
