Problem

From EV version 10.0.1 there is the ability to configure migration of EV archived data to Amazon S3 storage as a tier 3 solution. Within the Amazon solution data is stored within buckets which can be configured to be stored in various regions such as US Standard, US West (Oregon), US West (Northern California), EU (Ireland) and Asia Pacific (Singapore) to name a few. Currently Enterprise Vault only supports a configuration to the US region. This can be unacceptable to a business due to regulatory reasons.

Environment

EV 10.0.1 and above

Cause

This is currently expected behavior
