Technical Solution


When the Parent Incident Number is used as a criterion in a Helpdesk Solution rule, and the condition is that the value is equal to/is not equal to zero, the criterion does not evaluate correctly even when the value in the table is zero.


Helpdesk Solution 6.0


A value of zero is not returned when the evaluation is made.


To work around this, use the following Advanced Condition:

WORKITEM(workitem_link_parent_number) is the same as/is not the same as "".

Note: Be sure to set the "Compare As" field to "Text".
