A mapped FullVM backup of VM fails to exclude the data disk on some Windows 2008 machines.

When performing Mapped FullVM backups of a VM guest using the Exclude Data Disk feature, NetBackup sometimes fails to exclude the data disk on a Windows 2008 partition.

The following versions of NetBackup for VMware have been reported to have been affected by this issue:
This issue only affects Windows 2008 virtual machines.
NetBackup configuration included an incorrect assumption that the Windows swap file can only be on the boot partition.
The formal resolution for this issue (Etrack 3096091) is included in the following release:
