 When running a backup with SSR 2013, the backup fails with Error E4F3000C: PostSnap failed. 


Error



High Priority Error: Error EC8F17B7: Cannot create recovery points for job: (jobname.xxx). Error E4F3000C: PostSnap failed. 0xE4F3000C (Symantec System Recovery)

 

(note: "Error EC8F17B7: Cannot create recovery points for job" can occur in other situations as well. If you don't see "Error E4F3000C: PostSnap failed" in the same log, this technote does not pertain)

A Service Pack is now available for this issue in the current version(s) of the product(s) mentioned in this article. Refer to the Service Pack link under Related Documents at the end of this article to obtain the hotfix needed to resolve the issue.
