If the MSDP queue size becomes extremely large, the NetBackup Appliance 2.5.2 Web UI may fail to show hardware information.

The NetBackup Appliance 2.5.2 Web UI will fail to show hardware information if the MSDP (media server deduplication pool) queue size grows larger than 2,147,483,647.
Error seen in the Web UI when viewing Monitor > Hardware:
Unable to retrieve the hardware health information. For troubleshooting details check the Help.
This issue only affects NetBackup 52x0 Appliances version 2.5.2.
To determine if affected, run the following command:
Run the following command to check the queue size:
# /usr/openv/pdde/pdcr/bin/crcontrol --queueinfo
Outputs will look like:
total queue size : ########
If the queue size is greater than 2147483647, the Hardware Monitor may be failing.

To resolve this issue, the queue size will need to drop below 2147483648. To manually process the queue, execute the following command:
# /usr/openv/pdde/pdcr/bin/crcontrol --processqueue
It maybe necessary to process the queue twice.
If this workaround is not feasible, please download the RPM attached below and access the Related Article linked below for instructions on applying a hotfix on the Appliance.
Note: This hotfix is no longer publicly available, as all of its fixes are included in the NetBackup Appliances 2.5.3 Release Update. If this issue is experienced in a NetBackup Appliances 2.5.x environment, the supported resolution is to apply the latest maintenance release OR upgrade to NetBackup Appliances 2.6 or above.
