Backup of Data partition completes successfully but skips all files with exception “V-79-57344-33976 - Unable to open the item F:\Lotus\Domino\Data1\mail\file.nsf (File does not exist) – skipped”.

 


Error



Beremote log on Domino Server shows the following:

[1608] 06/25/13 08:02:00 [fsys\notes2]        - Notes Agent: NSFDbOpen Return 259. Handle - 0
[1608] 06/25/13 08:02:00 [fsys\notes2]        - Notes Agent: OSLoadString Call.
[1608] 06/25/13 08:02:00 [fsys\notes2]        - Notes Agent: Partitio[0] - CLNWrapper::DbOpen - ERROR!!! File does not exist
[1608] 06/25/13 08:02:00 [fsys\notes2]        - Notes Agent: OSLoadString Call.
[1608] 06/25/13 08:02:00 [fsys\notes2]        - Notes Agent: CLNWrapper::DbOpen - ERROR [File does not exist] from Notes for database [F:\Lotus\Domino\Data1\mail\file.nsf] on Partition#[0]


 


Cause



This may occur if all the Data Partitions are on the same path.

Data Path Example:

  1.    C:\IBM\DOMINO\DATA
  2.    C:\IBM\DOMINO\DATA1
  3.    C:\IBM\DOMINO\DATA2

Solution



A hotfix is now available for this issue in the current version(s) of the product(s) mentioned in this article. Refer to the Hotfix link under Related Documents at the end of this article to obtain the hotfix needed to resolve the issue.

Backup Exec 2010 R3 Rev 5204 Service Pack 4  (TECH208828).
