Offsite Copy to an FTP server fails every time when using Symantec System Recovery (SSR) 2013.

Offsite Copy to the same FTP server works when using SSR 2011.


Medium Priority Error: Error EBAB03F1: Following Operating System error occurred while performing requested operation: 'Unspecified error.' 0x80004005 (Symantec System Recovery)



When specifying the FTP server to be used, use the IP address instead of Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN).

This issue is currently under investigation by Symantec Corporation. Pending the outcome of the investigation, this issue may be resolved by way of a patch or hotfix in current or future revisions of the software.
