Technical Solution



Alerts are generated against the CPU component due to unknown low and high water marks readings which lead to an inability to verify whether the current reading is fine.


An exampe of these alerts is below.  Note that the readings for both low water mark and high water mark are Not Available (na):

NetBackup 52x0 appliances through version 2.5.3 are affected.


Symantec Corporation has acknowledged the the above-mentioned issue (ETrack 3308267) is present in the current version(s) of the product(s) mentioned in this article. Symantec Corporation is committed to product quality and satisfied customers. This issue was scheduled to be addressed in the following release:

  • NetBackup 52x0 Appliances 2.5.4
