For Granular Recovery Technology (GRT) based backup of Exchange databases to disk, a delayed catalog job runs as soon as the backup completed. If a duplicate backup is linked to the original backup then both delayed catalog backup as well as duplicate backup starts at the same time. This can lead to different behaviors like duplicate backup going into queued state or failing.
