Backups using the Agent for VMware Virtual Infrastructure (AVVI) completes successfully but the restore view does not show all the drives for the file and folder restore.
Backup Exec 2012 SP2
Vmware ESX 5.1 server
This issue is observed in the following configuration:
- A virtual machine has multiple disks
- The first disk is basic MBR
- The remaining disks are dynamic MBR
As a workaround, running the backup of the virtual machine using the Remote Agent will allow all of the drives to be displayed as expected.
