Problem
The VERITAS Cluster Server (tm) Cluster Manager (Java Console) incorrectly displays the version information as "2.0.1 Beta 2" instead of "2.0.1."
Solution
Under Help > About in the VERITAS Cluster Server Cluster
Manager (Java Console), the version is incorrectly listed as "2.0.1 Beta 2"
instead of "2.0.1" (Figure 1).

The product is released, and a patch has been released to resolve this issue. The patch can be applied to both Windows NT and Windows 2000 installations of the VERITAS Cluster Server Cluster Manager.
Note: Do not apply the patch to versions of Cluster Server Cluster Manager which do not exhibit the above issue.
Note: It is recommended that the patch be run locally on the machine where Cluster Server Cluster Manager is installed rather than from a network share. If the user running the patch does not have write access to the network share from where the patch is run, the patch process will not complete successfully and the program will notify the user that write access is required.
1. The patch can be applied by double-clicking on the VCS2K20ENUGUIPatch_249880.exe file
2. After all files have been extracted, double-click on the VCS20W2KPatch.exe file and select "Yes" at the dialog box (Figure 2)
Figure 2
3. The program will then indicate if the patch has been installed successfully.
a. If the Cluster Server Cluster Manager is running during the patch process, the program will alert the user that it will have to be shut down and restarted in order for the changes to take effect.
b. If the patch has been previously installed, the program will alert the user and no changes will be made.
c. If the patch program detects that Cluster Server Cluster Manager is not installed, the program will alert the user and no changes will be made.
