A redirected restore of a SharePoint site collection restores any library to the root of the new site collection and the contents of the library are not accessible.
The navigation nodes are overwritten during the restore and the original root link is restored. Since the link is overwritten, the contents of the library are inaccessible when clicking the link.
Do one of the following:
- Link the library again or use the Site Content link in the SharePoint navigation pane to access the data. The Site Content link has the libraries and other lists that are restored and point to the correct library when you click the link.
- Use the Site Content link to edit the link to the library.
Refer to your Microsoft SharePoint documentation for more information about changing library settings.
