During a backup of virtual machines the Backup Exec Remote Agent may crash.

When attempting to backup virtual machines the Backup Exec Remote Agent (beremote.exe) may crash with the following errors.
Appliction Event Log:
Faulting application name: beremote.exe, version: 14.0.1798.1364, time stamp: 0x5318f09f
Faulting module name: bedsvmvcb.dll, version: 14.0.1798.1364, time stamp: 0x5318f09d
This issue is resolved in Backup Exec 2014 or later versions.
A hotfix is now available for this issue in the current version(s) of the product(s) mentioned in this article. Refer to the Hotfix link under Related Documents at the end of this article to obtain the hotfix needed to resolve the issue.
