The blue screen of death (BSOD) occurs on the Backup Exec server running on Windows 2012 when restoring a VMware guest machine with ReFS volumes.
Backup Exec Server: Backup Exec 2014 on Windows 2012
VMware Guest Machine: Windows 2012 or 2012 R2 with ReFS volumes
Backup the guest machine using Agent for Windows and restore it
