Pxe will hang during the pxe boot image download process

Problem
Pxe will hang during the downloading of the pxe boot image. There are no errors thrown, there is no pxe e xxx errors at all.
Environment
Deployment server 6.5 all versions
Deployment server 6.8 all versions.
Cause
The multicasting has been disabled in the network.
Solution
Resolution one: Enabling multicasting in the network. This is usually a non starter, as the multicast function in the network was shutdown for a reason.
Resolution two: Goto the deployment server console > tools > pxe configuration utility > multicast tab and here uncheck the box "Enable Multicast". The pxe will then send out the pxe boot image as a unicast broadcast and will work from that point on.
