Full backup of Sharepoint databases fail when SQL Log Shipping is enabled

Technical Solution


When backing up Sharepoint databases in Backup Exec, if SQL Log Shipping is enabled for the database the backup may fail.


Workaround - Use the Backup Exec 2012 Agent for Windows Servers on the SQL server instead of the Backup Exec 2014 version.
