A worker is unable to view or display results of a search for contacts

Technical Solution


A specific worker was not able to view contact after performing a search. At the bottom of the screen, there is a number of contacts returned, but no contact information is visible on the screen.  If the mouse pointer is passed over where the search results should be, a message displayed: "Click here to activate this control." Clicking removed the message, but did not correct the problem.

This was only happening when performing searches for contacts. All other searches return results as expected.

There is a problem in the "Format Table" settings for that worker.


Under the "Find Contacts" search field, click on the "Format Table" tool object.

The Format table interface lists the items that are meant to be displayed. Click on the "Restore Defaults" button at the bottom then add any additional columns as desired.
