Full automatic registration does not take place with command-line based reinstall (Hotfix 3)

Issue



Full automatic registration (without a need for a user to log on to the computer to complete the registration) does not take place with command-line based reinstall when all the parameters are specified. Some users still need to log on to the computer to complete the registration.

Environment



Recovery Solution 6.2.2332 (6.2 SP1)

Cause



The issue is caused by a bug in the code that requires someone (even a non-authorized user) to log on to the computer to complete the registration process although all the information needed for that was specified in the command line.

Solution



Please find the drop-in attached. Use article 24583 to learn how to modify the Recovery Solution Agent package to include the hotfix. Once the Data1.cab is modified and updated, retry with the reinstall.
