I cannot get the datebase created and configured on the destination computer. Part of the error states:

Sql Server Error: 17
access denied.

Wise Package Studio
SQL 2000 SP4 or higher version

User attempting installation is not a database administrator or using NT authentication but instead are computers that are not on a domain.

The user that you specified during database setup to perform the installation does not have the correct privileges.

In order to install Wise Package Studio successfully, the user needs to be a database administrator, or the database administrator must enter his or her credentials during the Repository Manager configuration. They must have database administrator permissions to create databases, not just tables, even if the Wise Package Studio databases already exist.

If you select to use NT Authentication, the computers (server and client) must be on the domain. If the computers are not on the same domain, then you will need to use SQL authentication. If the error message is thrown from a client, ensure that the firewall on the server is turned off or that the client allows SQL access through the firewall.
