The 3.5 product must be installed before you add these patches. If you have not yet installed the Storage Solutions 3.5, see the Product License and Installation Guide for installation instructions. The 3.5 Update 2 release is a set of cumulative patches that supersede the 3.5 Update 1 patch release. You can upgrade to 3.5 Update 2 from 3.5 Update 1 or directly from 3.5.


Supported Operating System

Storage Solutions 3.5 Update 2 for HP-UX operates only on the HP-UX 11i 64-bit operating systems with the September 2002 HP-UX 11i version 1.0 (or later) release
installed.

Note: VERITAS File System 3.5 operates only on HP-UX 11i 64-bit operating systems. Other VERITAS products operate on other HP-UX versions. VERITAS Volume Manager can be used in conjunction with OnLineJFS 3.3 to obtain file system functionality on 32-bit operating systems.

102678 In the previous release, vxckpt_umount would fail if the database was on a
single file system and the mount point name was the same as the file system
name. This has been fixed.
103370 Previously, df -k was used in dbed_clonedb and dbed_vmclonedb and did not
work on HP-UX. It has now been replaced with df -Pk.
104272 Previously, the shortcut key t was used in the Create a Storage Checkpoint
wizard in the GUI for both Retain this Storage Checkpoint and Create a
Storage Checkpoint. Now n is used as the shortcut key for Retain This
Storage Checkpoint.
104669 In the Japanese version of the product, creating a storage checkpoint from
the GUI would fail. This has been fixed.
105771 In the previous release, rolling back to a Storage Checkpoint other than
the most recent one would result in an SCN mismatch error. This issue has
