Problem

AeXVault.exe crashes during Storage Locations Synchronization Job.

Faulting application AeXVault.exe, version 6.20.2332.0, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 5.2.3790.1830, fault address 0x00036d25.

Environment

Recovery Solution 6.2.2332

Cause

GPF related to the Storage Locations Synchronization Job.

Solution

Note: This is a cumulative hotfix which includes Hotfix 4.

This hotfix is in the form of DSRawdata.dll (attached to the right as DSRawdata.zip), which needs to be applied to the Recovery Solution Server:

Stop the Recovery Solution Server Service.
Browse to %Program Files%\Altiris\Recovery Solution\Server folder.
Replace the old DSRawdata.dll with the new DSRawdata.dll.
Restart the Recovery Solution Server Service.
