Problem

Local Recovery partition creation hangs for HP DC7700P.

Environment

Local Recovery 6.2.2332
HP DC7700P*

Cause

IWbemServices proxy interface which does not have at least "impersonate" level, which it should have.

Solution

The hotfix is in the form of rnsmshl.dll and NoACPIConfig.ini which needs to be applied to the Local Recovery Agent installation package, that is, Data1.cab.

The rnsmshl.dll and NoACPIConfig.ini files are attached to the righat as Client.zip.

The Data1.cab can be modified and updated using ASPack.exe utility. More about ASPack.exe is available in article 24583.

Rerun the Local Recovery Agent installation with the updated Data1.cab.
