This feature release provides fixes for VERITAS NetBackup UNIX servers, clients and NetBackup UNIX Add-on products.
UNIX users should refer to the NetBackup Installation Guide for UNIX when installing Feature Pack 6 (FP6) or upgrading to FP6 in a UNIX environment.
The NetBackup Installation Guide for UNIX can be found on the 4.5 FP6 CDROM or online at: http://support.veritas.com/docs/255267 .
This CD image release includes an update of NetBackup or VERITAS Storage Migrator (tm) 4.5 release with new open file backup technology for NetBackup and all the latest fixes. This feature pack is required to be installed on a system in order to apply any future feature pack releases. As this feature pack is a full installable package, please refer to release upgrade procedures as documented in the "Read this First" document for NetBackup or "Installation Guide" for Storage Migrator (this is not installable via the standard "Vrts_pack.install" script).
