Wise Installation Studio crashes when attempting to access it after installing

Issue



After I install Wise Installation Studio, it crashes when I attempt to get into the product.

Environment



Microsoft Windows* XP SP2

Cause



Unknown

Solution



If you have already installed and the application is crashing, perform the following steps:

  1. Uninstall Wise Installation Studio.
  2. Delete  the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Wise Solutions registry.
  3. Turn off your antivirus software and/or firewall (temporarily disable).
  4. Re-install Wise Installation Studio.
  5. Restart your antivirus software and/or firewall.
