Problem

Carbon Copy session with user1 has been terminated.

Environment

Carbon Copy Solution 6.1.2003, 6.2.1144

Cause

In the previous version of the Carbon Copy, the user1 pop-up message was shown in case of a port scan or telnet hitting port 1680. This message was shown as the port scan nor telnet provide Carbon Copy login credentials to identify a user. In the new 6.2 version, the user identification thread was moved after the authentication. The User1 means that no login credentials were provided to identify a user.

Solution

Make sure that you have enabled the "No Reboot - Carbon Copy Agent Upgrade" policy from the Configuration tab and the policy is targeting the "Altiris Agents Requiring Carbon Copy Upgrade".
