While using Carbon Copy, one particular computer is able to be remote controlled but cannot remote control other computers.
Notification Server 6.0 SP3
Carbon Copy Solution 6.x
Corrupt or damaged Carbon Copy remote control ActiveX controls.
Issues with being able to remote control are not typically related to the Carbon Copy Agent itself. These issues are typically related to the ActiveX control used to remote control.
On the problematic computer, ensure that you are logged in with full local Administrator privileges.
Close all Internet Explorer windows.
Browse to "C:\Windows\Download Program Files" and delete both "CRc Guest object" and "CCarbon Copy Object."
Then access the Carbon Copy remote control page in the Altiris Console and attempt to remote control a computer. This will re-install the ActiveX controls.
