Cause

Solution
As the work-around allows full functionality, this issue is not currently scheduled to be fixed. To avoid the issue, follow these steps whenever you need to update the package/program/or task:
- Add, remove, or change files as necessary in the directory that makes up the Package to be used.
- In the Altiris Console the numeral in the Version field under the Package tab. The default starts at 1.0, and simply change the version by increasing the number.
- Click Apply and, when completed, click Update Distribution Points.
- Browse to the Task or Job in question in the Altiris Console (Task Server).
- Click the Edit button.
