Problem
Error 1075: The dependency service does not exist or has been marked for deletion." appears on boot up or when attempting to start the Backup Exec Services.
Error
Could not start the Backup Exec Job Engine on Local Computer.
Error 1075 : The dependency service does not exist or has been marked for deletion.
Could not start the Backup Exec Device and Media service on Local Computer.
Error 1075: The dependency service does not exist or has been marked for deletion.
Cause
The Remote Agent for Windows Servers is one of the dependency services of the Backup Exec Job Engine Service. If, for some reason, there is an issue with the Remote Agent installation, the Job Engine service cannot start.
