Problem

Failed in "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" at page packages2.aspx. Unable to view or edit any Software Delivery package in Resource Manager.

Environment

Software Delivery Solution 6.1.1034 Hotfix 2
Notification Server 6.0 SP3 R5
Upgraded Wise Integration Component 6.1.138

Cause

Corruption in the assemblies for Software Delivery Solution.

Solution

Upgrading to the latest version is one way to repair the assemblies. If you can't right away, you'll need to uninstall Hotfix 2, run a repair on Software Delivery 6.1 SP1, then reapply Hotfix 2. It would be easier to simply upgrade to the latest version of Software Delivery Solution, if possible.
