Solution
A restore job fails with the error "Authentication failed
on connection to the server" even if the backup is successful (Figure
1).

The following information is logged in the SGMON.Log file:
bengine: f68 12/6/2004 15:52:38: NDMPEngine::SetupNDMPConnection(): Failed to retrieve System Login Account from BESERVER, error = -1610579488. Returning NDMP_NOT_AUTHORIZED_ERR
This issue is observed to occur if a logon account with the description of System Logon Account is not present under the Network | Logon Accounts menu.
