Problem
On Windows* Vista with SVS layers, some of the user settings do not work correctly for the second user to log onto the computer. If the computer is rebooted between users, everything works correctly.
Environment
Software Virtualization Solution 2.1
Windows Vista
Cause
The SVS user variables are not being re-resolved when the second user logs in.
Solution
Upgrade to SVS version 2.1.2095 or higher. The agent installer for version 2.1.2095 is attached to this article.
The .exe file is used to install or upgrade a stand-alone installation. The .msi file is provided for use with Notification Server and Deployment Solution server where jobs/tasks have been predefined to use the .msi file. The .msi file will need to be manually replaced in the appropriate directory.
The solution upgrade can be downloaded and installed through the Solution Center in your Altiris Console.
This build contains all fixes found in previous builds of Software Virtualization Solution 2.1.
See article 29519 for the download locations of other versions.
