Problem
The SrTool control shell file redirection is disabled to external source or files. This results in scripts written prior to the upgrade to VERITAS Replication Exec (tm) failing to provide the expected results.
Solution
Back up the existing srtool.exe binary in the
C:\Program Files\VERITAS\Replication Exec directory (default, fresh
installation) or the C:\Program Files\VERITAS\Storage Replicator
directory (upgraded installation). Next, place the file attached to this
TechNote in this directory (after extraction).
Once complete, redirecting the SrTool command output will work properly.
