Problem
The PCTRTDestAgent.exe will terminate by itself if you leave it running (listening) for more than 10 minutes. (without any activity)
Environment
PC Transplant Pro 6.8 SP1 (6.8.1032)
Cause
There is a 10 minute timeout hard-coded into the destination agent.
Solution
This issue was resolved in PC Transplant 6.8.1043. See knowledgebase article 29518 for a list of the latest downloads of PC Transplant
In this new version, the automatic ten minute time-out has been removed. Instead, the default behavior is to wait indefinitely until it is either manually closed or PCTWiz on the source machine tells the agent the migration has completed.
If, for any reason, you find you need the destination to time out, there is a new command-line option for PCTRTDestAgent; -apptimeout:<n> where <n> is a whole number in minutes.
